The Cox 6 - Minute Rapid Dry Heat Transfer Sterilizer is quickly becoming the new standard for sterilizing ophthalmic LASIK & medical surgical instruments. Almost all your LASIK instruments including microkeratomes, rings, cannulas, flap manipulators, markers, and even silicone tubing can be sterilized in this unit.

Since the Cox dry heat sterilizer does not use water, your overall sterilization technique could possibly be deemed safer from a potentially infectious-complication standpoint as compared to steam sterilizers. Steam sterilizers if not properly maintained over time, could possibly release endotoxins from sterilizer reservoir biofilms. Heat stable toxins are possibly one of the major contributing factors in DLK complications, and in several past instances, have been traced back to bacterial growth in some steam sterilizer water reservoirs that have not been properly maintained. This combined with the advantages of dry heat sterilization make the Cox dry heat sterilizer a smart choice for sterilizing your LASIK instruments.

In summary, the Cox Rapid Heat Transfer Sterilizer is a fast, simple solution to your sterilization needs. No longer will you or your staff be bothered with all of the problems inherent with other forms of sterilization. Since the dry heat system will not corrode, rust or dull your instruments, you won't have to replace them as often. Its amazing speed means you won't have to buy duplicate sets of instruments, and there are no supplies to buy. All of these advantages combined save you time and money.

Thoroughly Tested & Proven Technology

This technology is over a decade old, and is a proven form of sterilization. Biological tests were conducted on the Cox Rapid Heat Transfer Sterilizer by the Microbiology Department of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.

The spore forms used and successfully killed were Bacillus subtilis and Clostridium sporogenes which have been selected by the American Organization of Analytical Chemists (AOAC) and the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) as the dry heat resistant forms to be used to establish verifiable sterilization.
