Accutome Introduces New Anterior Segment Video Series

Accutome and eyetube.net are pleased to introduce a new video series on Anterior Segment Imaging and Ultrasound Biomicroscopy featuring Samuel Masket, MD.  Dr. Samuel Masket discusses the advantages of performing anterior segment ultrasound biomicroscopy with the UBM Plus developed by Accutome, Inc. Initially, his interest in UBM was motivated by the desire to understand the etiology of dysphotopsia, but the imaging device also proved useful for additional applications, such as examination of anatomic structures behind the iris, intraocular lens positioning, sulcus-to-sulcus measurement, and angle measurement. Dr. Masket also shares the case of a young car accident victim where UBM was critical in the assessment of ocular trauma.
