The new A-Scan Plus 4.20 features intuitive software and upgraded hardware to meet the precision demands of premium IOLs.  The A-Scan Plus is the single most effective solution for measuring and calculating all of your patients and refining your surgical outcomes for cataract surgery.  It has the ability to measure 100% of patients and works great with dense cataracts and patients with fixation difficulties.

Accutome has also improved the ability to manage your patient data.  The A-Scan Plus can backup data on a USB memory stick or personal computer.  This information can then be uploaded to electronic medical records.  Our new A-Scan Manager software allows the physician to review patient information directly from any PC.

  • Immersion and Contact Modes.
  • 100% Measurement Capability regardless of lens opacities or fixation difficulties.
  • Industry Leading Resolution and Screen Size for precise and reproducible axial length measurements.
  • Simplified Personalization of Lens Constants for superior surgical outcomes.
  • Automatic Alignment Detection and sclera recognition eliminates marginally aligned scans.
  • Portable, Lightweight Design that can be effortlessly transported from office-to-office.
  • Stores up to 100 Patients with Batch Print Capabilities and uploads to most EMR systems.
  • Modern Third and Fourth Generation Formulas including the Hoffer®Q, SRK/T, Holladay, Haigis, as well as new post refractive formulas.
  • More Storage – Save patient data via USB memory or PC computer.
  • New A-Scan Manager Software – Review patient data from any PC.

Accutome makes it a top priority to train facilities on the importance of accurate biometry which is why every purchase of an A-Plus includes an onsite instruction program

What the industry is saying:

“We found a very high correlation between the ultrasound and optical measurements (Pearson correlation coefficient 0.998). Technicians noted that immersion with the immersion shell is simple and rapid, with measurement of both eyes completed inless than five minutes. Advantages of immersion ultrasound include applicability to all grades of cataract regardless of the density of the media and lower cost than the optical method.”
