Keeler Cold shipping policy for Pharmaceuticals (Revised April 2026)
Any pharmaceuticals that require refrigerated storage, and have a refrigerated storage temperature on their label are designated as “Cold-ship” items and are shipped via UPS Next Day or 2nd Day delivery. These shipments are shipped in FDA-compliant insulated packaging with cold packs to help maintain product integrity during shipping transit.
1. Cold ship options:
Cold-ship pharmaceutical items must ship separately from other non-cold ship items in the same order; the non-cold ship items could result in separate shipping charges depending on order amount.

Orders placed after 2PM shipping cutoff or outside designated days will ship the following week.
2. Returns
Insulated refrigerated products from Keeler use ISTA validated cold package liners and gel ice packs to maintain product integrity, but it is still possible for product to be warm to the touch upon arrival. This warmth is due to normal heat absorption and does not always indicate that product integrity has been compromised.
Products remain safe as long as they are received and placed into the recommended temperature controls (2–8 °C / 35–46 °F) within 48 hours of leaving our facility.
Our cold shipping supplies are lab-tested to keep their contents cold for over 48 hours to mitigate any potential delays in transit or receiving.
All cold-ship pharmaceutical items are not eligible for return, due to their storage requirements.
